It have drivers for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux, old and new versions.
Stable, with activity LED.
After had been using another similar products , I found this nice device and solved my RS232 communication needs in many machines and operative systems.

I purchased this item to replace a cheaper model with a damaged molded cable. Given this model uses a standard detachable USB cable, I no longer have to worry about needing to discard the electronics when a customer steps on my laptop.
I'm using it with a Lenovo T61, running Windows XP to administer Cisco devices via console ports using PuTTY. I loaded the drivers, plugged it in and it just works.
My only concern is misplacing the small driver CD or not being able to download drivers in the future.

I use a vinyl plotter/cutter that utilizes a serial port and when upgrading to a new pc, forgot all about it. This device puts me back to work!
